I guess it is only taking the current balance of the account and
applying all the scheduled and recorded ( in case there are transactions
already recorded with a future date ) transactions for one account(
checking, credit, etc). It displays a line for the next days, weeks or
months of the balance for the account.

For recurring transactions it gets ( I guess )all the single events that
will be generated for the period of the report and adds and subtracts
the values.
