Transaction Report options: ver 1.8.1 problem

Hi,
  I have a problem in that if I wish to set up a transaction report option, 
the menu goes off the bottom of the screen (I just see a box for 'defaults') 
  Even raising the full box off the top of the screen, & moving the menu bar 
off the bottom will not let me see the end of the menu. (so I cant accept the 
options I have set: it will only go to defaults).
  So far I have tried changing window fonts, size, minimising the inter-box 
pixels, changing the X window resolution - but still no joy!
