Install problem for 1.8.5 now gnome-config problem

Well, managed to get most stuff installed, but the latest error is a
little mysterious:

>checking for gnome-config... /usr/bin/gnome-config
>Unknown library `xml'
>checking for xmlNewDoc in -lxml... Unknown library `xml'

Is my gnome-config hosed or missing?

I did and rmp -e for the libgnucash, but it says its not installed, so I
guess I'm ok on that one.
