Importing QuickBooks Data

Unfortunately there are no plans, at this point, to implement or
support an IIF import/export.  That does NOT mean that patches wont be
accepted -- indeed patches would be wonderful.  However, right now I
know of nobody who is planning to implement it.

So, I think the answer is no, there are no plans to support IIF files
in the near future.
