I get numbers for everything in the Total Return column, but it doesn't
seem to include dividends and interest. Isn't Total Return defined as
the net effect of capital gains, losses, dividends and interest?
Do I just have something set up improperly so that the income from each
account is not being recognized?
One thing that would make it easier is if whenever you have a buy or
sell transaction, the price that you actually got on that date would be
entered into the price history for the stock or fund, rather than just
things entered through the price editor. Then you'd be pretty much
guaranteed to have at least one price point for everything, so the
issue of "no price data" shouldn't come up.
