Annoying message

Hello all,
I'm new to the list and a new gnucash user. I have 1.6.6 which I know is
old, but that's what is the easiest to try for Debian.
I've tried entering in a months worth of checkbook data and I found that
very easy to do. Big round of applause for the interface team/person.
The only thing that isn't perfect is that every time I click on a
transaction to say that it has been processed by the bank, I get an
annoying dialog box telling me that the transaction has changed and asking
me if that is what I wanted to do.
1) Is there any way to turn that off in 1.6.6? I looked in the
preferences dialog but nothing seemed to apply.
2) Failing that is this fixed/changed in some future version. I don't
want to go through the pain of trying to use the unstable deb or compiling
from scratch without some assurance the the effort is worth it.
Other than that, I found gnucash very easy to use. Lot's of nice little
features.
Thanks,
dar
