Reports and splits - not compatible

We have income from three sources, and at times make deposits that
combine two of them.  As it happens, one is from a revenue-producing
strata property, and so there are deductions for fees.  All this is
done in a split.

When I run a transaction report on the other source of revenue, the
revenue from that other source that is part of one of these splits 
does not show up in the report.  That revenue source appears second
(last, actually -- the deductions come first).

This looks like a bug to me, but before I file it as such, I thought
I'd check and make certain that I'm not doing something wrong.
