I looked at this another way, and saw it as a problem with the Cash Flow
Report. It says it is including Liabilities in the default settings, but I
never see any of my payments against liabilities in the report. I played
some with the settings, did not get anywhere, posted to the list (see
http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2003-January/005154.html )
and got no response. I then filed a bug, see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104021 ,and got no response from
that either. I understand that the developers are very busy, and I saw
another post from David Overton today that looks like he might have found a
way to make the report useful, but I have been waiting for this issue to
come up again so I could see if I was the only one. It looks to me like
the liability accounts are not actually being included in the report even
when I include them in the options. I know that on my accounts they are
not included in the outgoing sections, and since a large portion of my
outgoing cash flow is to cover liabilities, it is important that it be
included for me to get a good picture of where my money is going.
