To what level do you want to localize gnucash to CH?
- - Do you want to adapt the German translation to Swiss financial German? Then
read doc/TRANSLATION_HOWTO and have a look at the existing German translation
po/de.po, which would be a start for a po/de_CH.po.
- - Do you want to provide localized Default Accounts (those that show up at
File -> New)? That's also explained in TRANSLATION_HOWTO (thanks Jon!), and
accounts/de_DE would be your start.
- - Do you want to include Swiss tax rules? I have no idea how and to what level
that would be possible, and yes, it would probably require programming.
The first two do not require *any* programming. As I said, it depends on what
you want.
