gnucash and OS X

I keep installing Fink to try and use programs
like gnucash only to uninstall it because I get
too frustrated.  I have Apple's X11 beta 3
installed and have Fink installed with Fink
Commander and have done nothing else Fink
related.  Can anyone give me a step by step
manual on how to install gnucash?  It doesn't
appear in the list of programs in Fink Commander.
 I can't seem to find anything on the web.
