Finance::Quote 1.08 released

I have v-1.07 and have just spent twenty mins.(and it's still trying) or
so trying to upgrade-finance-quote. Much of the time was spent going
through ftp agents. It finally got to:

Trying with "/usr/bin/wget -O -" to get
    ftp://cpan.uky.edu/pub/CPAN/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
--12:33:07--  ftp://cpan.uky.edu/pub/CPAN/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
           => `-'
Resolving cpan.uky.edu... done.
Connecting to cpan.uky.edu[128.163.2.32]:21... failed: Connection timed
out.
Retrying.

and it retried five times before I finally stopped the process. Where do
I configure this process to use the wget ftp application? or where can I
get more specific info on CPAN? TIA, Bill
