Incorrect balances in Accounts window

I see this too sometimes.  I am running v1.8.1 on RH9.  I find that the 
balances correct themselves, if you exit gnucase and come back in again. 
  It seems like a glitch that only shows up temporarily, and I am not 
sure what steps will make it a repeatable failure.
