help gnome 2.2

Hi,
my name is Emanuele, and i want help.
I reinstall my machine with Slackware 9.0, this release have Gnome 2.2.
I try compile Gnucash whith this release, but i have some problem.
When release GnuCash is prompt for this Gnome????
