Restoring from the log file

Long history.  People wanted a text-bsaed data format.

Instead of Berkeley DB I'd rather look at embedded MySQL.  It gives
the same on-disk-file "feel" as a Berkeley DB, but it gives us the
power to re-used the Postgres SQL implementation....

But this is still pie-in-the-sky.  First we need to finish the
SQL re-write.
