libguppi not found

Uhh,  "rm -rf"?

Seriously, if you installed it into /usr/local, as I expect you have,
then you need to perform a surgical extraction.  This is why I always
install packages into /opt/<package>-<version>, e.g. /opt/g-wrap-1.3.4/

You can try running "make uninstall" but it might not get everything.
