Hello,

I am trying to compile gnucash (latest) with Sparc Solaris 8. I have
problems with the configure like so:
I have installed libintl (.26).

./configure --prefix=/opt/sis
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for non-GNU ld... /usr/ucb//ld
checking if the linker (/usr/ucb//ld) is GNU ld... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... yes
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) is a cross-compiler... no
checking whether we are using GNU C... yes
checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/local/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake... found
checking for working autoheader... found
checking for working makeinfo... found
./configure: syntax error at line 1382:
`INTLTOOL_REQUIRED_VERSION_AS_INT=$' unexpected

What does this mean? I don't understand configure well enough to figure
this one out?

Salman
