check & repair fuctionality

Hi,

I'm new to double entry accounting method and after going through the precise tutorial available at gnuc web-site I created my account book. But when I created the Account summary report, I always find some figures at the "Total" at the bottom of the report, even my balance sheet is not balanced. I tried using "check & repair" function but it doesn't make any difference. 

I appreciate any help from you experts.
