 Ok . Disregard my previous email , because I think I found the solution.
Whenever a notification comes in about the amount of your tax return:
Set it off against the tax period it applies to.
And create an account ( if you haven't any) Suspend. 
This will give you the right amount of tax you had to pay for that period.
The money hasn't come in yet , but there is a charge in the Suspend account.
When the money comes in just set it off against the suspend account and 
everything is Honky Dory.
BTW it don't believe it has anything to do with what sort of tax you paid or 
received.
