You know, this rings a bell, and I remember it happening to me a long
time ago, but I can't remember the details :-/ Try the list archives
(if you haven't already).
I'm still seeing times when GnuCash *appears* to hang, but no CPU use
and the real cause is some window manager interaction that throws a
dialog onto a different virtual desktop.
