I think we need to read this carefully. It's why I am sort of pushing
for a bare-bones budgeting capability that reflects the existing chart
of accounts, starting at the top and filtering down to a given budgeting
level. And then stops. And once the new year starts is frozen.
I know myself all too well. Give me a way to "tinker" with my budget
during the year when the inevitable surprises occur and I'll likely do
it -- and end up with no budget baseline at the end of the year.
I need the grim reminder at the end of the year of what I wanted to
happen, but didn't. <sigh>
