But what about "I budget $1500 towards my mortgage"?  That's a
liability, and it certainly needs to be included in a budget.
Similarly, I'm budgeting into an asset in terms of savings goals --
e.g. I put $1200/mo into various savings (asset) accounts.  Those
should be budgetable, too.
