Budgeting Summary 1 - Notification

Greetings all!

I think budgeting could be done within the report system, if the report
system had the following enhancements:

1) Ability to clone reports, or have report templates.

This eases the concern to have multiple budgets, or run different
projections, and create your budget for the next period.

2) Ability to use druids as part of report creation.

3) Ability to lock report settings. Unlocking a report would give a
report specific warning.

Should satisfy the budget setting purists, without annoying terminal
tweakers.

4) Multiple account layouts for reports.

This enables great flexibility in categorizing your expenses for
reporting and budgetary purposes.

5) Drag and drop within an account tree widget.
In conjunction with #4 above, this would allow you to create your report
categories easily.

6) Saved reports - so an accidental close does not erase hours of work.

All of these enhancements would greatly benefit all of the reports,
while at the same time address the budgeting needs users have identified
through this thread.

regards-
