Price update fails

Try something like this:

$ echo '(yahoo_europe "7248.PA")' | ./finance-quote-helper 2>/dev/null

You should get recognizable output.  You may have to find the
finance-quote-helper program.  Its an auxiliary program installed with
gnucash.
