Can't configure version2.2.0 - missing libgtkhtml-3.1

Hi folks, 

I downloaded the 2.2.0 latest release tarball and cannot configure the
programme.

During configure, the programme looks for libgtkhtml-3.1. I run Suse
8.2Pro and have version 2.20-35.
I have searched over the web for gtkhtml and the latest version
available appears to be 2.6.

Can you please tell me wher I can find version 3.1
