I too have seen this problem (at least I think it is...)
 I get paid every 2 weeks. I had the original entry working OK for ages (just 
a normal pay split into accounts), but the trouble I think came when I wanted 
to have another 2 weekly pay trail the first by 3 days. 
  The problem came when Gc is started: The periodical payment hangs. The only 
way I got around it was to bypass PPs, then delete them all. At present I 
just duplicate payments manually. I had not realised it was a bug as at the 
same time I had intermittently faulty memory, so put it down to that.
