foreign currencies: the second

I use Quicken for my private daily accounting since 1996. Living in
Austria (EURO) there are many reasons to use (bank) accounts with
foreign currencies (actually: GBP, HUN, CZK, CHF). This works fine in
Quicken. One of my accounts has more than 3000 entries (this is a wide
pool of both historical as well as statistical personal information).
Almost all of my (bank) accounts doe interact together (EURO with HUN;
HUN with CZK etc.)
My problem: I cannot (correctly) import the Quicken-QIFs into GNUCash.
I thank you for any advice...
(you know: this is the last reason for me to use M$)
