I would be a zillion times more interested in discussing on how to be
able to view/manipulate gnucash data, live, on gnumeric.
I've vaguely thought about writing a GnomeVFS module that would
export live gnucash data as a tree of files, and then somehow
map this to gnumeric cells ... so that a change made in gnumeric
can then write out to GnomeVFS, where it's instantly mirrored in
GnuCash, and v.v.
