Gnucash just stopped working

I had exactly the same problem. But as a newbie I do not know how to get that 
libltdl3. Your command line did not work, because the library was not in my 
cache

apt-get install libltdl3_1.5.2-1_i386.deb is not allowed according to man 
apt-get. apt-get install libltdl3 tells me that I have the newes library 
installed, which is 2-2.  

How do I get the version 2-1??
