Reports causes crash gnucash-user@gnucash.org

hello everybody,
I fixed the problem with about the disappearing transactions. One
transaction had changed from a credit to a debit!

Now I'm having a problem with reporting. If I try to get any reports
gnucash crashes out.
I get the following at the X11 terminal:

gtkhtml-ERROR **: gconf error: Failed to launch configuration server:
Failed to execute child process (No such file or directory)


aborting...
Abort trap
