Budgeting

I read the budgeting review at the below URL:

That looks very interesting, and is a goal I am trying to work towards - 
although right now I am building my budget manually based on my current cash 
flow.

Is work on budgeting ongoing? Will we see some budgeting in a future release 
of GnuCash? I think the product and documentation is great, and would be very 
happy to see some basic budgeting in the future.
