Well, CVS HEAD isn't slated for release anytime soon.  We expect
to release 1.8.10 sometime soon, but that's off the 1.8 branch,
not HEAD.

You're welcome to pull down the trial-balance report from CVS and
try to backport it and its dependencies into 1.8.
