Derek,

Let me just add my thanks.

I have been using gnuCash for the last year plus to run my small
consulting business. I converted from QuickBooks (having used it for
probably ten years or more). When I started, it was your patience and
explanations that helped me keep at it. While I am still patiently
waiting to be able to assign individual business payments to individual
business invoices (and, no, Neil, I am not trying to resurrect that
debate), it was you that made me realize that someone understood my
desire and cared about it as an issue. It helped me find a reasonable
workaround that, in fact, works just as well for me.... It was the
little things like telling me, back then, to not close my reports before
exiting that kept me here.

Frankly, I know there are some developers out there working when they
can on the, I should probably say "infamous" at this point, g2 port, and
I thank them for their efforts, but it is simply you, Derek, that
allowed me to stay here.

Many thanks,

--Rob
