Sort Order for Account Register

Dear GnuCash:

I am a new user, using version 1.8.9 on Ubuntu desktop, converting
from Quicken, which I am glad to escape.

My question is about changing sort order of the account register
display.  "Standard" sort seems to be the same as "Date" sort, that
is all transactions are listed by the date of the transaction. I want
to see them sorted by reconciliation status.  That is, all reconciled
(Y) first, then all cleared (c), then all uncleared (n).  And each
group should be sorted by transaction date.

Is there any way to accomplish this?
