Recording dividend reinvestment

The balance in the income account should have been increased by 14.08.
Did you check the type of the income account as Derek and I both suggested?
When you Edit the income account, is "income" highlighted in the acount type
box?

That's what the splits look like, from what I can tell  -- your  
column formatting didn't make it through email.

The part I'm wondering about is the balance (the third column, which  
you didn't show) in the Income:Dividend:Non-taxable account after  
this transaction. It started at 0, The balance is now listed as  
- - -14.08.  Is that correct?  Should it be a negative balance?
