Downloaded what is supposed to be a Mandrake 10.0 rpm.
(gnucash-1.8.10-2mdk.i586.rpm)
cd the directory with the rpm file.
Used the command below.
Failed dependancies:
libgnucash0 >- 1.8.10-2mdk is needed by gnucash-1.8.10-2mdk
gnucash = 1.8.8-2mdk is needed by (installed) gnucash-hbci-1.8.8-2mkd
gnucash = 1.8.2-mdk is needed by (installed) gnucash-ofx-1.8.8-2mdk.

I'm off to check out rpm parameters and options to see if I can figure
this out but would appreciate any pointers.

Doug

Just run "rpm -Uvh <list of gnucash packages>" and it will
upgrade your app. No need to touch your data files or configuration
files; 1.8.10 will just read your 1.8.8 config and data just fine.
Indeed, upgrading the RPM wont touch your data/config.
