Looks Good! Open Tree?

After going through the tutorial several times I finally set up
GnuCash accounts, transferring Jan 1st totals over from MS Quicken one
by one. Although apprehensive, I found it really easy not only to set
up, but to correct my many clumsy mistakes, marginal computer competence
and new to linux and unfamiliarity with terminology as well.
I had been worried about things like how to incorporate money we
lent (instead of borrowed) and real estate partnerships within IRAs
managed by management company through a bank and foreign currency CDs.
I like it so far (especially the clean, spare look) and even look
forward to attempting to download. I missed not being able to find a
comprehensive index at first (and second and third), but OK now.
I've got to find out how to get it to require a password to open and
to upgrade from .9 to .10. but really only have one question: Is there a
way I can get it to open to the same open tree display as when I shut down?
    Appreciatively,
