Which set of documentation?  There's the Concepts Guide and Help
documents, which are pretty well organized (if not fully complete).
There's the developer API documentation, which has already been
pointed out to you.  There's the Wiki / FAQ, which has recently been
reorganized into something more usable that it has been, but can
always be flushed out more...

Which "documentation" are you offering to help "organize"?

Our main docs are in docbook format, and the HTML and PDF output looks
fine.

All the sources are in either gnucash or gnucash-docs packages.

PS: Ted, I know you from a number of places and know that you're not a
net.loon, but I have to admit that this thread did feel a bit
condecending when I read it.  I doubt you meant to intone that in your
emails, so I would suggest that you take into account that the gnucash
developers have a long history of doing what they've been doing and
don't need to be lectured at about "the right way to implement".  Just
a suggestion.  :)
