Hi,
there is a"deficiency" in (IIRC) libgnomeprint which sounds rather like the
problem you are finding. In general as gnucash is one of the few remaining
gnome-1 apps, it is the only place one sees the problem. I don't think that
it has much to do with OS X.
My way round it (on linux) is to export reports to a html file and then
print via a web-browser.
