Hi Matt.
2 ways to generate reports:
1. (On the main Gnucash window, with the account tree visible) Menu item
"Reports" then select your report - eg Transaction report, or Income &
Expense -> Expense Barchart or whatever. Most of those will let you set a
date under the "options" box, as relevant to the report.
2. From an open register window - the Toolbar button or the menu Reports.
These probably don't let you specify a date range in the options, because
they are showing the register directly - and using it's settings - you can
set the date range for the whole of that register in (Register Window) View
-> Select Transactions -> Date Range
I had type 1 in my head for my first reply, as you have probably guessed by
now!
