Account reports problem

Hi all,

I'm setting up some accounts, some HKD, some USD, and now the total
profit and asset calculations go wrong.

I have a Purchases (Expense) account in HKD.
This account has two children: one in HKD, the other in USD.

In the Accounts view, the total given there is correct.

However the totals in the top bar with assets and profits are wrong.
And the account summary goes wrong, and with that the profit/loss
statement and charts.

How to fix this? Most irritating is that now my profits calculation is
way out; so I don't know how much I really made :(

I'm using GnuCash 1.8.11; I've noticed there are 1.9.5 rpms available
for Mandrake so will try and install that at home (no 1.8.12 rpm
available for Mandrake, and I don't want to mess up my office
workstation) - maybe the 1.9.5 behaves better.
