Help, printing

I recently downloaded (several hours) and installed Gnu Cash 1.8.10. It 
installed itself and I have no idea where and have been unable to find 
its root location. The download finished with an error message but 
installed anyway. I don't know what i may not have gotten but apparently 
did not get the guides. FAQ says to download the "Document Package" to 
the same prefix where Gnu Cash is installed. I downloaded the HML and 
PDF versions of the Help and concepts guides and have both on my 
desktop. I copied them to every location where I could find Gnu Cash 
files but am still not able to access them from Gnu Cash.

I like what most of what I see so far. I have trouble printing some 
reports. The net worth bar chart prints only the bottom half of the 
chart on the top half of the page and then sends out a blank page. The 
page appears the same (wrong) way in the preview. I can not get it to 
print colors. My printer works okay in other Xandros programs.

I use my own method of budgeting. All income and spending is 
accomplished in sub-accounts. I load my budget amounts in the parent 
account so that the balance shows the difference between budget and actual.
