Adjusting column sizes

Could someone please add a feature to do column size adjustments for 
ledgers that work both when expanding and shrinking columns.  In the 
ledger page, I can easily expand the description, transfer, and other 
fields, but cannot shrink them necessarily once they are expanded.  I 
for one would prefer that column adjustments work like they do in other 
applications. If I tell GnuCash to shrink the column size, guess what I 
want it to do?  Shrink the column size.  Same thing with expanding it.

I'm using GnuCash 2.0.1, from Notting's distribution, I believe.  Also, 
if it does get fixed, I'd really appreciate the fix going into an FC5 
release, rather than packaging it for FC7 or 8, and making me upgrade 
the OS to get it.
