Decimal separator

Hi,
  Does GnuCash respect system's decimal separator setting? I'm not a Gnome
user (GnuCash is about the only reason I have Gnome libraries installed),
so I know it does not follow KDE setting, of course.
  My problem is that in Polish keyboard layout, numeric keypad separator
enters comma and GnuCash does not recognize this as a decimal separator.
How can I make it working?
