Missing help in 2.0.3

GnuCash 2.0.3 (also 2.0.2) says it cannot find the files for the help
documentation.

I need to find out where it is looking because I did install the
documentation and it sees to be present, apparently in
/opt/local/share/gnucash/gnome/help/gnucash where there are two directories.
C and de_DE both contain .xml files.

1. Is this the correct location?
2. Is there a trace file somewhere that shows where GC looked?
3. Is there a Yelp config file somewhere that defines the location?

Functionally, 2.0.3 is running pretty well on a MacBook (Intel) under OS X
10.4.8, using Gnome with X11.
