Hi everybody,

I'm new to GnuCash. The fact that there is something like this in the opensource world is really nice!

I have a small problem when using the program: I want to record an expense (eg I purchased something for my company). This means that I have an invoice with an amount on it. This amount is divided in 2 parts: (1) the actual costs (2) the taxes. I want to record the purchase so I made a new vendor and added the invoice. Now it doesn't automatically makes it so that the taxes part of the amount is going to the taxes account. Can anybody help me with that?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,
Jethro Borsje
