blank register report

I'm using GnuCash 1.8.9 with Mandrake 10.1.

One of my accounts gives a blank page (just a title) when I click the
button to "Open a report window for this register."

All of the other account registers seem to be working fine, giving me
all of the desired transactions in the report.

I haven't been able to find any settings pertaining to the faulty
account that would cause this strange register report behavior.
