make test: invalid ELF header

I tried the config.guess from 1.8.11 and got the same results.
Including --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu for 1.8.12 produced a correct
build. I still get the same guile crash with postgres 8.1.1 though. I
suspect that it is due to differences in the postgres libraries and
include files though. It works with postgresql 8.0.5 but not 8.1.1
