Check printing

Another thought occurs. I can create the template check in OpenOffice.
That software has the ability to create form templates that read fields
from a data source. Data sources include such things as spreadsheets,
and spreadsheets read such useful things as CSV files.

Can I get a comma separated value file (or other spreadsheet-like) file
out of gnucash, so that I could print the checks externally?
