strange mix of fonts used in columns of numbers?

As far as I know, gnucash uses the same font for all text printed in the
register.  All text typed by the user is in the specified font, and
hints supplied by the register (i.e the words 'Description', 'Transfer',
etc.) are in the italicized version of that font.  Other than this
normal/italic change, the same font is used throughout the register.

For what its worth, the register font used by 1.8 is Adobe Helvetica
medium 12 point, if I read the code correctly.  2.0 uses whatever font
is specified as the gnome system font.
