Scheduled transaction not getting enterred..

Some time back, I posted this problem and the messages on stdout
indicated a problem with some corrupted transactions, all of which
turned out to be due to a recovery operation done long ago....

I corrected all of the transactions which were missing a currency entry
and gnucash is pleasantly quiet when starting up.  However....

The original problem was the my SXes weren't being entered, even though
GC tells me they are when it starts.  I change the SX to notify me
before enty and now GC crashes while trying to show the
notification/confirmation dialog with this on the console:


    Error: create_each_transaction_he...(): Common-commodity difference: old=Jonathan, new=USD

    Error: create_each_transaction_he...(): Some error in new transaction creation...

After crashing, I can then restart GC which complains about the lock
file, but I open it anyway.  At this point, the SX last entered date is
updated, so the dialog is not presented and I can run normally.

Below is the SX entry which is failing.  I'm not sure what went wrong.

The "fund" account in question is a 529 college savings plan with no
ticker that I'm aware of, so I have a manually entered price in the
price editor.  I've confirmed that the price editor still shows my
manually entered price.

This looks like it may be the same as Bug 157179 "Crash on startup with
future scheduled fund purchase" where Derek said "Scheduled Transactions
do not support stock/mutual fund txns."  Is that still correct with GC
1.8.12?  I thought I used to have fund transactions automatically
entered....
